Bear Lake - Colorado

The glassy waters of this beautiful alpine lake rest at an elevation of 9,450 feet in the Rocky Mountains. Bear Lake lies near the Continental Divide, where North America's watersheds separate into the Atlantic and Pacific drainage systems. Peering through the boughs of spruce and pine, my camera found the still waters and their reflections framed by the surrounding forest.
