The Oculus - Ground Zero in New York City. It was designed by Santiago Calatrava, a Spanish architect, to resemble a dove taking flight. The inside of the structure is arguable more intriguing than the outside.

I have been to NYC many times but had never been able to visit Ground Zero since the completion of the 9/11 Memorial, 9/11 Museum, the new World Trade Center Tower, or The Transit Hub known as The Oculus. I remember 9/11 very well and being at the site of it was very overwhelming and impacting. I spent the entire day in Lower Manhattan taking it all in and reflecting.
