Dewey Bridge was built in 1916 across the Colorado River. I stumbled upon this bridge with a friend while driving across America, Georgia to California. The bridge was destroyed by an accidental fire started by a child in 2008. I assume the tree also succumbed to the flames. At one point in time Dewey Bridge was the second longest suspension bridge west of the Mississippi River and the longest in Utah.
