Santa Elena Canyon - Texas & Mexico Border

The Rio Grande flows through the Santa Elena Canyon at Big Bend National Park. In this photo, the cliffs to the left are in the Mexican state of Chihuahua while the cliffs on the right are in the United States. The river was shallow enough to walk across the borderline. This part of Texas is a mystery to many but well worth the lonesome drive to visit.
