Dead Tree — Georgia

This dead tree stands in South Georgia not far from the Florida state line. I’m not sure what kind of tree it was, how long it’s been dead or how it died. I do know that even it death it is still beautiful. I could not have asked for a better sunset to not only take the photo but also to have viewed this scene in person.
